Visual Culture Club (31.03.2024)

Visual Culture Club is a new community event to look and talk about an image that stood out for you recently.

It could be a photo, a poster, an illustration, a billboard ad, a film still, a post on social media - any image that made you look twice.

Bring your image printed on paper (or print it at Hobb) to have a group discussion about why it stood out for you, and what kind of images make us pause in an age of visual overstimulation.

An exercise to look at and touch an image on paper, and a break from scrolling on digital screens.

Visual Culture Club will be led by artist, film curator and writer Hind Mezaina.
